I’ll Start With This

So yesterday, I thought … … "How many people actually begin their best eating habits on the 1st? In general, we are above, moves very slowly on the 1st and do little or nothing. (May I speak to me). I actually have on the balance. I had not done in months! I was not surprised - I do not think I won or lost, but 240 is not good number of "maintain" unless I am a linebacker!
I began thinking about how I’m gonna change my eating habits. It is far, a lot of carbohydrates, a lot of sugar. I have a dear friend that affect sugar diet and 4 months has lost 26 lbs! That’s amazing! I must think about the little changes I need to make every day. I need to eat healthy snacks, like carrot sticks (which I really) or a box of raisins and forget the buns pio, Hostess cakes, chocolate pies.

Seeing Things Clearly

Day after day, as we journey through our current economic crisis, it seems that very few voices that are heard are pointing out the obvious flaws in the reasoning.
Of course, we all heard the debates and hard about whether or not to exit the automotive industry. We also heard the almost universal (just) criticism of the financial industry bailout already approved. Most debate centers on whether or not we should move away from a particular industry and if so by how much. Although it is not irrelevant to this question lacks some deeper questions.
Most of all, there is the question of how did we get here? I know that often trumpeted prime mortgage failures are seen as the reason. They are a yes, no doubt. Yet they are not alone, not at all. The origins of this crisis are much deeper and more widespread as the problem of a mortgage.

If You Want to do it Better

If somebody replaces your Pyrat XO rum with Barcardi Gold are disrupted. If they replaced your Wild Turkey Rare Breed with Beam you are angry. If they replace your Glenlivet Scorsby you with homicide.
We can all be fooled, in many ways and often are. But when the real things that we know in our souls are corrupted, we become acutely aware of crooked deal.

Gratitude and Hope

I lived through many Thanksgiving gatherings. Some more pleasant than others. This year, as I am about to undertake this journey through the year, I felt the need to reflect and express what I’m really grateful for.
I am pleased that, despite moments that were difficult, and the number of days I hesitated, I continued to seek the happiness that I am able to see that many small things in life are really big gifts.
I am grateful to my friends, who share many of my interests and, more importantly, my view of life. Which drew my attention to the Eckhart Tolle book, "A New Earth", which was an answer to my prayers.
Recognizing that Mr. Tolle has written the book that changed my perspective on how to live life for the better. Which allowed me to see that face any difficulty - this too shall pass. For my friend who called me to watch this episode of Oprah that led to participate in the ten weeks of the series Oprah’s "A New Earth" next to Mr. Tolle webcasts.

It is all in the Differences

what makes someone, anyone?
whats the difference between the couch and me who you want to say hi to me and sit on the couch … yea i ment that to be funny.
i cought it does worry some of you would be sitting on me.
anyway, it does not answer my question, what makes us, us, well … hmm … we think, but thought that the animals too, we are aware of our existence, well, place a mirror in front of some animals, parrots, for instance, and theyll see themselves … so whats the difference?

Wishing You the Best

A very Happy New Year to you all. Hopefully it is an improvement over the last. There is always hope, but here is the sad and hope for a wise man of the New Year.
Hopefully, for example, no semi-slavery state receives the right to host a major international sporting event this year.
Hope that the weapons that should not exist at all not to fall into the hands of madmen who should not rule at all.

Reach for the Golden Ring

In my last post, I referred to the fact that you do whatever you want. Our society has always needed to take full responsibility for your actions, but the past and the future do not exist. Only this is for you and me.
What can you gain by living in the past? Whereas in the past, before this? The answer is nothing! The past is gone! There is absolutely nothing you can ever do to change the past. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. So screw it! Only fools worry about what can not be changed.

Another Outlook

I had a strange holiday, he did not just want Christmas this year. too much consumption, perhaps, not quite design (Immaculate, which is). I realized that I did not make much impact in the world with my creativity, and be separated from the artistic side of me makes me very unhappy. I wonder what to expect? I feel bound to the house we rent, we hope, one to buy, I love my husband and our dog and our lives, but there were some moments where 32 recently estimated terribly claustrophobic and the truth: it is my fault. i have missed something for a long time now that centers me, puts me in the world in a real tangible way, and thus I return to writing.

The Plan

I feel like if I set New Year’s resolutions for me. This is something I never do. I’m not just saying. Honestly I have never seen the New Year’s resolutions, and I’m not saying this because I put them and destroy them. No, I never made any. This year, however, I want to save a few.

New Beginning

As I sit and write, just 18 minutes after the New Year - I felt obliged to wish all a very good year.
Yes, I had my toast with champagne - and a drink and I am a little tipsy. I must apologize for any missteps and hiking occur in May
This year is the first year in a long time that I felt the excitement of the new year.
Even if my husband could not do at home this year, I was nonetheless determined to celebrate what I believe to be a turning point for the better for us as a family, and for our country and our planet.
